Favourite FMX Rider: American Crusty legend Nate Adams. The dude has the mindset to win it, and thats what ive discovered is the most important thing; the passion and drive to accomplish your dreams.

Signature Trick: The ‘Cordova’ comes really natural to me, ive always been able to bust some of the biggest Cordovas you’ll see.

Favourite Show: Last year I rode at the Big Boys Toys in Auckland with Luke Smith. Around 120,000 people walked through the gates over three days, riding in front of huge crowds is where im happiest. Also riding for the Crusty Demons in ‘07 was a rush you cant describe.

Injury File: Snapped left tibia, Left ACL Ligament (required reconstruction), snapped left tibia again, broken left collarbone, broken left collarbone again, cracked shoulder blade, 3 broken ribs, torn nerve in foot, 3 severe concussions. Safe sports dont require helmets!

Accomplishments: Mastering the backflip on my Suzuki minibike, pulling NZ’s first backflip on a 450cc into Smithys foam pit (to dirt this year!), riding for infamous Crusty Demons ‘07, 1st Place NZ amateur FMX champs ‘06, 1st place FMX Auto X ‘08.

Favourite Career Moment: Having just crashed a backflip at the CHCH Crusty show, standing on the downramp with a broken collarbone and foot, and having 7,500 people out of their seats screaming for me in approval. That moment, that is why I do what I do.

PERSONAL RUN FMX MEMORIES: RUN FMX has changed my life in so many ways, i’d be here all day just listing them all. RUN FMX as a crew has accomplished so much, and exceeded everyones expectations, from shows to clothing lines to private partys, everything we have touched has turned to gold. Of course nothing beats the feeling of all the hard work coming off and pulling off successful shows, seeing the look and thrill on fan’s faces, thats something that you just cant beat. MCing events has become somewhat natural and something i love, talking in front of thousands was at first somewhat nerve racking, but just turned into a thrill. Visiting schools with the guys putting on a show and a motivational talk is something ive always wanted to do, RUN FMX has given me that privilege, of giving back to the community and helping kids out, at the same time making their day! 

WHAT RUN FMX MEANS TO ME: RUN FMX has just become larger than life, its taken off way more than id ever expected. RUN FMX isnt just a Freestyle Moto X company, its more. Its a way of life, its a group of guys who have made an excuse to make something out of nothing, and have a good time along the way. We have constantly put our mind to new projects and achieved every single one with flying colours. Its undeniable that we are a huge success, seeing thousands of cars round Christchurch with our RUN FMX stickers on, people wearing our clothing label and the thousands that attend shows just shows the extent of success we have encounted. Without my best friends Steve and Jack, none of this would of happend, these 2 are living legends.

PERSONAL RUN FMX MEMORIES: My favourite memories of my time with RUN FMX would have to be the 2007 Crusty Demon Kiwi Carnage Tour, which came to Christchurch on February 14th. Steve was called up to backflip his 110 during the show. So off Steve and I went at 8am to the compound, to practice flipping over a distance to the pit. A couple of hours later we rocked up to Wespac Stadium, walked through the riders entrance, and were treated as VIP’s as we sat and watched the worlds best riders practice in a private show. Then we went backstage and were in awe as we sat in the locker room, chatting and laughing with the likes of Bilko, Nate Adams, Adam Jones, Shuie and Smithy. To be chilling with the worlds greatest FMX riders is one thing, but then to turn up to the after party where Steve get a standing ovation, then be escorted to a VIP only area and be handed drinks and spend a night partying with the infamous Crusty Demons, is a memory I will never forget. 

Another fond memory I have is of Auto X 2008, where RUN FMX took charge and produced a 2 day freestyle extravaganza. With Joe McNaughton and Dan Frew flown in for the event, and our very own Steve Gregor headlining, it was a show not to miss. I MC’d the show along with 91zm’s Scotty Mac, and infront of several thousand screaming fans, put on a show not to forget. 

WHAT RUN FMX MEANS TO ME: RUN FMX doesn’t mean anything to me, RUN FMX is me. It flows through my blood, fills my lungs, satisfies my hunger and controls everthing I do. RUN FMX is my life, and my life is RUN FMX. Enough said.
